Sustainability

All of our food is prepared on site by our talented team of chefs, apprentices, trainees and pathway members. We believe people like choice and change our menu daily using fresh, seasonal produce.

At Beresford Street Kitchen we strongly believe in doing our bit for the environment.
Wherever possible we use local, fresh seasonal ingredients and base our menu on what is available. We only ever use Jersey free-range eggs in our dishes. As a charity, any food donations are gratefully received. We happily accept surplus fruit and vegetables from farmers, allotmenteers and any growers out there! In the future, we hope to have our own plot to grow veggies. We never knowingly use any products with palm oil in our dishes and all of our packaged impulse buys and ice creams are palm oil free. We recycle all plastic, glass, tins and paper that we can. All of our packaging has been made out of recycled materials.

Healthy living

Our freshly prepared dishes use lots of fruit and vegetables and healthy wholefood ingredients. We aim for
balance and have a range of healthy mains and sides along with some occasional treats.

Our staff are trained in allergy awareness. Please ask if you need any information about ingredients. We have NGCI (no gluten
containing ingredients) options each day as well as dishes suitable for vegans. NGCI sandwiches available on request.
